For Sale: 2009 BACK COVE 29
Description
Hull#195 of this popular 2009 model represents the classic ‘Downeast’ style of motor cruiser crafted in Maine USA. Externally the Black Awlgrip finished hull and white deck & cabin top in conjunction with her timeless lines beckon keen admiration from fellow mariners.
Measuring 29’6″ in length, her semi-displacement traditional ‘Lobster Boat’ hull lines powered by a single shaft Yanmar 315hp diesel motor provide reliable and efficient performance on the water accelerating effortlessly to cruising speeds. The bow & stern side thrusters simplify manoeuvring in tight spaces.
Internally the forward cabin offers ample headroom and warm cherrywood finishes. A beautifully fashioned timber dining table lowers to provide a spacious double V-berth with similarly constructed timber shelving & hull lining adjacent.
The galley has a solid surface countertop with plentiful storage spaces, s/steel sink serviced by hot/cold pressurised fresh water, electric front opening refrigerator & stove.
A fully enclosed fresh water flush electric head (with 113lit holding tank) and shower compartment is served by pressurised fresh hot & cold water & electric shower drain system.
The Helm Deck provides undercover upholstered seating for 5 whilst the cockpit seats up to another 5 persons. A stern platform is fitted with multiple fishing rod holders and a retractable s/steel swim ladder.
The current owners have enjoyed several offshore passages to the waters of Broken Bay estuary & the Hawkesbury River and also Port Stephens as well as enjoying the home waters of Lake Macquarie.
